Community Alliance Pact, Inc., “CAP”, is a Tax Exempt Charitable Organization in Dallas, TX. Our mission is to help minimize poverty by teaching financial literacy to residents of underprivileged communities and providing them with access to knowledge, resources and mentorship that will allow them to get and stay financially fit!

- High attention to detail and organization
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem solving
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight and meet deadlines

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Report to the Board of Directors
- Works with CFO and other Finance Committee members to compile various budgets for the organization
- Responsible for developing and carrying out plans to raise enough funds to support the budget
- Arranges for an annual audit of financial records and makes a report of this audit
- Risk Management
- Ensure that accurate and complete financial records are maintained
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and other requirements related to the organization’s finances
- Safeguard the organization’s assets
- Ensure that accurate, timely, and meaningful financial statements are prepared and presented to the board
- Understand and adhere to all Bylaws, Policies, and Procedures
- Actively attend and participate in Committee Meetings
EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's in Finance or an equivalent field
- 3 years of Finance related experience
- Finance Certifications a plus but not required
